Sam Alvey is set to take on Ian Heinisch on Saturday, February 5, 2022. Heinisch confirmed the news on his social media (Instagram).
Alvey hasn’t had his hand raised since defeating Gian Villante back in June of 2018 and he’s riding a seven-fight losing streak which is the second-longest in UFC history only behind B.J. Penn with eight. Heinisch will also look to get back in the win column. After scoring a first-round TKO against Gerald Meerschaert at UFC 250 he lost two straight against Kelvin Gastelum and Nassourdine Imavov.
