STFC 46: Elias Rodriguez vs Edmondson Freitas is set to take place on Friday May 18th at the McAllen Convention Center

With fight night just around the corner, STFC prepares for it’s 46th event to be held at the McAllen Convention Center Friday May 18th.

Be prepared for war as 18 combatants enter the ring and only 9 leave winners and only 1 will leave as the STFC Lightweight Champion.

Starting the night out with 2 amateur fights we have 2 ranked combatants fighting 2 unranked combatants. Each fighter looking to make a name for themselves and move forward towards a professional debut.

Starting the night off we have 2 155-pound amateurs, Charles Jones (1-0) vs AJ Buenrostro (0-0). Each fighter definitely has something to prove when they enter into the cage Friday night.

Next, we have 2 amatuer welterweights Ramiro Zermeno (3-6-0) vs Sabas Garcia (0-0) going toe to toe. This should shape up to be a great fight.

Kicking off the start of the professional Welterweights bouts we have Mark Beltran (1-1-0) vs Guillermo Gonzalez (3-0). Beltran looks to stop Gonzalez 4 win streak but this won’t be an easy task. This should be a very interesting fight.

Fabiano Rodrigues (0-2-0) vs Josh Hill (16-2-0) are both fighting at 145lbs. Josh Hill has an excellent professional record and looks to keep the streak going. Fabiano has a huge task as he seeks to stop Hill’s rise up the ranks.

Next up, Christopher Cuadra (0-1-0) vs Fernando Ramirez (0-1-0), we have 2 ranked featherweights looking for their first professional win. This should be a great fight.

We have Ranked middleweight Robert Salinas (1-0-0) vs Maguette Seck (0-0-0). Seck is starting his pro debut fighting out of Jackson Wink MMA gym and has a lot to prove stepping into Salinas backyard. This is another fight I am looking extremely forward too.

Getting closer to the main events, we have 2 featherweights Peter Caballero ( 4-2-0) vs David Mendoza (0-0-0) , set to face-off against each other. Caballero, already with an established professional record, looks to defend that record in his home state against Mendoza who is fighting out of California.

Our co-main event features Victor Martinez ( 8-4-0) vs Manny Muro (9-4-0). Martinez looks to keep the momentum going after back to back wins. He currently trains out of UFC’s Carlos Ferreira’s gym and is defending his turf against Oklahoma’s Many Muro. This is going to be an amazing fight people! Don’t blink!

Finally, our main event features undefeated Elias Rodriguez (5-0-0) vs Brazil’s Edmondson Freitas (7-2-0). This is going to be an absolute barn burner folks. Rodriguez is not about to let someone take his undefeated record and his belt without a fight. Let’s not forget Freitas finished our former lightweight champion Danny Salinas in his last fight so I can guarantee you a fight… he will bring. With an undefeated record and fighting in front of his home crowd will be a major task but on the other hand Freitas fighting away from his Homeland against an undefeated fighter will surely lead to major fireworks! This is not an event you want to miss!

Again, the event will be held Friday May 18th 2018 at the McAllen Convention Center. Tickets can be purchased online thru Ticketmaster or at the local box office. Come out and support your local fighters and come out and see a great night of fights!!!
