TANNER WEITZEL WINS GLOBAL CAGEFIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE

Titanium Tanner-Tanner Weitzel won the GCC Jr. Atom weight (WAKO K1 Kickboxing) title last Friday night in the Jr. Main Event, by unanimous decision vs a aggressive Damon Nabity. KJ Kordick, (also known as The STORM) accompanied WAKO Kickboxing to sanction Iowa, and WAKO’s first event in Des Moines, Iowa.

Weitzel’s resume includes 2014 Athlete of the Year (Iowa), 13 National titles, 9 state titles ( 8 taekwondo/ 1 wrestling), 1 NAGA World Title, and now, a K1 title. Tanner also a current Honor roll student, is the youngest person to gain a Black Belt (Taekwondo) in Iowa history.

Global CageFighting Championship and WAKO’USA Kickboxing will hold it’s next event in Des Moines, on February 1, 2019 at the Val Air Ballroom. Though not confirmed, Titanium Tanner is planning to compete at this event.
