Taura MMA has added another former UFC veterans to its ever-growing roster: Middleweight Caio Magalhães and Light Heavyweight Wagner ‘Caldeirão’ Prado are the latest fighters to sign with the Brazilian promotion.
‘Hellboy’, a middleweight, has compiled 10 wins, seven defeats and one draw in MMA. He left UFC with a 4-3 record inside the octagon. His career has also included stints in M-1 Challenge and Professional Fighters League. Caio is also a BJJ coach at Glover Teixeira’s Teixeira MMA, in Connecticut (EUA).
Wagner, in turn, has signed a deal after winning seven of his last ten fights since he left UFC, including a devastating knockout win against Johnny Walker. He is coming off a draw, so the 32-year-old is looking forward to return to the W column in Taura MMA. ‘Caldeirao’ and Caio is expected to debut later this year against opponents to be determined.
Magalhães and Wagner are joining a high-level roster with the likes of Renan Barão, Sergio Moraes, Godofredo Pepey, Antônio ‘Bigfoot’ Silva, Rousimar ‘Toquinho’ Palhares, Fábio Maldonado, William ‘Patolino’ Macário, Guto Inocente, Efrain Escudero, Daniel Sarafian, Paulo Thiago, Gleison Tibau, Bruno Korea and José Maria ‘No Chance’.
