Two time Olympian from Morocco hails sports initiatives by Bahrain
Rizlen Zouak, Olympian and MMA Fighter praised the initiative to host Brave 14 in Tangier, Morocco on 18th August. Rizlen had represented Morocco in London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympics and became the first female Judoka to represent Morocco. Currently the athlete had transitioned into mixed martial arts and has a record of 3-1-0. The Olympian expressed that the initiative which is happening for the first time in the continent of Africa is a glorious achievement for Morocco. Rizlen Zouak praised the initiative to host Brave 14 in Morocco and hailed the support from His Majesty King Mohammed VI to make the initiative possible.
She added that hosting Brave 14 it will create an environment that will give exposure for the sport and athletes from Morocco. Rizlen also expressed her support for Arnold Quero who will competing against Felipe Efrain at Brave 14. She also expressed
“It is an honour that the prestigious promotion from Bahrain, Brave Combat Federation is hosting the first global MMA event in the continent of Africa. I thank His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco for the patronage for the event. This will be a great beginning for the further growth of sports in the region”, said Rizlen Zouak.
