UFC 220 Official Results, Bonuses And Reebok Sponsorship Payout

BOSTON (Sun, January 21, 2018)– UFC 220 took place at TD Garden in Boston on Saturday January 20, 20108. The main card aired on pay-per-view while the prelims on FS1 and UFC Fight Pass.
The event drew an announced attendance of 16,015 and a live gate of $2.45 million. UFC officials announced the tallies after the event.
Daniel Cormier, Abdul Razak Alhassan, Calvin Kattar and Shane Burgos each earned $50,000 fight-night bonuses. Cormier and Alhassan were awarded “Performance of the Night” and Kattar and Burgos took home “Fight of the Night.” UFC officials announced the winners following the event.
Fighters from the event took home their UFC Reebok Sponsorship Payout totaling $249,500. Stipe Miocic and Daniel Cormier each earned $40,000 as champions and Francis Ngannou and Volkan Oezdemir earned $30,000 as challengers.
Under the sponsorship deal with Reebok, here are the program’s payout tiers: Fighters with 1-3 bouts receive $3,500 per appearance; 4-10 bouts get $5,000; 11-15 bouts earn $10,000; 16-20 bouts pocket $15,000; and 21 bouts and more get $20,000. Additionally, champions earn $40,000 while title challengers get $30,000. Also, UFC fighters will receive in perpetuity royalty payments amounting to 20-30 percent of any UFC merchandise sold that bears their likeness, according to officials.
