UFC 275 officially confirmed for Singapore landing pad on June 11.

UFC 275, the promotion’s June 11 pay-per-view event has been confirmed for Singapore – with the Singapore Indoor Stadium officially booked to host a championship doubleheader.

The June 11 event will mark the first occasion Singapore will host a pay-per-view event, with the most recent UFC event taking place in the country coming back in October 2019 when former welterweight and middleweight title challenger, Demian Maia headlined in a submission victory over Ben Askren at UFC Fight Night Kallang.

UFC 275 is slated to feature a pair of championships fights, with a high-stakes middleweight outing also officially confirmed for the trip to Southeast Asia. 

In the event’s headliner, undisputed light heavyweight champion, Glover Teixeira attempts to land his first successful title defense as he tackles the streaking #2 ranked contender, Jiri Prochazka.

Teixeira landed the undisputed title back in October with a submission win over Jan Blachowicz, while Prochazka, a former Rizin FF champion last featured in May – stopping Dominick Reyes with a stunning spinning back elbow knockout.

Co-headlining the event; undisputed flyweight queen, Valentina Shevchenko searches for her staggering seventh straight title knockback as she draws the streaking finisher, Taila Santos.

Shevchenko scored successful defense number six back in September with a fourth round ground strikes win over Lauren Murphy, while Brazilian contender, Santos most recently submitted Joanne Wood with a dominant December rear-naked choke.

Former middleweight champion, Robert Whittaker is also slated to feature in a main card outing at the Singapore Indoor Stadium – drawing one-time title challenger, Marvin Vettori in a pivotal clash at 185lbs.
