UFC Fight Night 125 Bonuses, Results And Reebok Sponsorship Payout
Belem, Para, Brazil (Sun, February 4, 2018)– UFC Fight Night 125 took place at Mangueirinho Gymnasium in Belem, Para, Brazil. The card aired on FS1 while the early prelims on UFC Fight Pass. For the official results you can go here.
UFC officials announced the following figures after the event. The event drew an announced sold-out attendance of 10,144. No live gate total were announced this usual for fight cards in Brazil.
UFC officials announced the winners of the bonuses after the event. Thiago “Marreta” Santos, Anthony Smith, Valentina Shevchenko and Iuri Alcantara each earned an extra $50k bonuses for their performances.
Santos and Smith earned the “Fight of the Night” and Shevchenko and Alcantara each won “Performance of the Night.”
Fighters from the event took home their UFC Reebok Sponsorship Payout totaling $151,500. Leading the way was Lyoto Machida who received $20k payout for being the only fighter on the card with 21-plus fights.
Fighters with 1-3 bouts receive $3,500 per appearance; 4-10 bouts get $5,000; 11-15 bouts earn $10,000; 16-20 bouts pocket $15,000; and 21 bouts and more get $20,000. Additionally, champions earn $40,000 while title challengers get $30,000. Also, UFC fighters will receive in perpetuity royalty payments amounting to 20-30 percent of any UFC merchandise sold that bears their likeness, according to officials.
