UFC Fight Night 135 official results, bonuses and Reebok Sponsorship Payout

LINCOLN, Neb. – UFC Fight Night 135 took place at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Neb. The main event aired on FS1 while the televised prelims on FS2 and the early prelims on UFC Fight Pass. 

The event drew an announced attendance of 6,409 fans for a live gate of $478,337. UFC officials announced the figures after the event. For the official results you can go here.

In the main event, Justin Gaethje (19-2 MMA, 2-2 UFC) defeated James Vick (13-2 MMA, 9-2 UFC) with a solid right hand that dropped Vick to the mat via knockout (punch) in Round 1 at the 1:27 mark.

In the co-main event, Michael Johnson (18-13 MMA, 10-9 UFC) won his fight which got him back on track in the winning circle with a split-decision win against Andre Fili (18-6 MMA, 6-5 UFC). On the score cards Johnson had 29-28 while the third judge had it 30-27 for Fili.

UFC officials announced the bonus winners after the event. Justin Gaethje, Eryk Anders, Cory Sandhagen and Iuri Alcantara each earned $50k for their performances. Sandhagen and Alcantara earned the “Fight of the Night” while Gaethje and Anders each won “Performance of the Night.”

Fighters took home their Reebok Sponsorship Payout totaling $188,000. Two fighters came in first place, Jake Ellenberger took home $20,000. Jake announced his retirement after losing against Bryan Barberena via TKO (punches) in Round 1. Also tied for frist is Rani Yahya also taking home $20,000. Coming in second place is Michael Johnson and Iuri Alcantara as they took home $15,000. Below is the full list for the Reebok Sponsorship Payout.

Fighters with 1-3 bouts receive $3,500 per appearance; 4-10 bouts get $5,000; 11-15 bouts earn $10,000; 16-20 bouts pocket $15,000; and 21 bouts and more get $20,000. Additionally, champions earn $40,000 while title challengers get $30,000. Also, UFC fighters will receive in perpetuity royalty payments amounting to 20-30 percent of any UFC merchandise sold that bears their likeness, according to officials.
