UFC Fight Night 196: Costa vs. Vettori Odds
This weekend is UFC Fight Night 196 will be taking place on October 23, 2021, at the UFC Apex facility in Enterprise, Nevada. For the main event former UFC Middleweight Championship title challengers, Paulo Costa and Marvin Vettori will fight against each other.

- Jessica-Rose Clark vs. Joselyne Edwards
Costa vs. Vettori
Paulo Costa (13-1-0) is currently ranked #2 in the Middleweight rankings whereas Marvin Vettori (17-5-1), currently ranked in fifth place. Both fighters are coming off a loss and are in need of a comeback. Costa is ranked at #5 on UFC’s Middleweight rankings, while Vettori follows at sixth position. Before joining the UFC Vettori was successful on the European MMA scene, until moving to the US to train. Before Costa signed with the UFC, the Mineiro made his MMA debut in his native Brazil.

Dawson vs. Glenn
Grant Dawson (17-1-0) will be fighting against Rick Glenn (22-6-1) in the Lightweight division. Dawson was originally scheduled to fight Carlos Diego Ferreira, though Ferreira had to pull out due to an injury.Â
Dawson is ranked 23 in the UFC rankings, whereas Glenn sits at #41. Dawson is currently on a winning streak, having not lost a match since 2016. Glenn previously fought in the featherweight division and was fined when he was 2.5 pounds over the weight limit. Since moving up to Lightweight, Glenn has been training and returned to UFC winning his last match against Joaquim Silva in June 2021.

Clark vs. Edwards
Jessica-Rose Clark (10-6-0) will be fighting against Joselyne Edwards (10-3-0) in the Women Bantamweight division.
Clark was on a losing streak between 2018 and 2019, but made a comeback against Sarah Alpar in Fight Night 178, though she hasn’t had a match since. Edwards is also in need of a comeback. Having lost her second UFC match against Karol Rosa. Edwards was due to fight Zarah Fairn in August, though Fairn withdrew. Rose-Clark is ranked at 17 in UFC’s Women’s Bantamweight, while Edwards follows closely at 21.
Clark and Edwards are evenly matched, but Clark might have the edge
