UFC on ESPN+ 15 results and bonuses
FightBook MMA has your official results and bonuses for UFC on ESPN+ 15: Jessica Andrade vs. Weili Zhang.
The event took place on August 31, 2019 at Shenzhen Universiade Sports Centre Arena in Shenzhen, China.
In the main event, Zhang shocked the world as she was able to take out Jessica Andrade in just 42 seconds to win the women’s strawweight title. This win makes Zhang the first Chinese champion in UFC history.
In the co-main event, Jingliang stopped Elizeu Zaleski dos Santos with just nine seconds left in the third round. He put the Brazilian away with a pair of knockdowns and series of punches.
Weili Zhang, Li Jingliang, Heili Alateng and Danaa Batgerel each earned an extra $50k in bonuses. Zhang and Jingliang each won “Performance of the Night.” Alateng and Batgerel earned “Fight of the Night.” UFC president Dana White announced the winners after the event.
