UFC on FOX 28 Official Results, Bonuses And Reebok Sponsorship Payout
Orlando, Fla. (Sun, February 25, 2018)– UFC on FOX 28: Josh Emmett vs. Jeremy Stephens took place on Saturday February 24, 2018 at Amway Center in Orlando, Fla. The main card will air on FOX while the early prelims on UFC Fight Pass.
For the official results of the event you can go here. The event drew an announced attendance of 10,124 and a live gate of $1,064,303.50. UFC officials announced the figures after the event.
Jeremy Stephens, Ilir Latifi, Alan Jouban and Ben Saunders each earned an extra $50k bonuses for their performances. Jouban and Saunders took home “Fight of the Night” while Stephens and Latifi each won “Performance of the Night.” UFC officials announced the winners after the event.
Fighters took home their UFC Reebok Sponsorship Payout totaling $175,500. Leading the way was Jeremy Stephens (28-14 MMA, 15-13 UFC) as he earned the maximum non-title payout of $20,000. The runner ups are Saint Preux (22-11 MMA, 10-6 UFC) and Rani Yahya (25-9 MMA, 10-3 UFC) as they each took home $15,000.
Fighters with 1-3 bouts receive $3,500 per appearance; 4-10 bouts get $5,000; 11-15 bouts earn $10,000; 16-20 bouts pocket $15,000; and 21 bouts and more get $20,000. Additionally, champions earn $40,000 while title challengers get $30,000. Also, UFC fighters will receive in perpetuity royalty payments amounting to 20-30 percent of any UFC merchandise sold that bears their likeness, according to officials.
