Former UFC champion Ronda Rousey says her decision to leave her WWE career is due because of fans and her hectic schedule in episode #4 of Steve-O’s Wild Ride Podcast.
Rousey tells Steve O:
“What am I doing it for if I’m not being able to spend my time and energy on my family, but instead spending my time and my energy on a bunch of fucking ungrateful fans that don’t even appreciate me?” She continues, “The thing is, I love performing. I love the girls. I love being out there. “But, at the end of the day, I was just like, ‘Fuck these fans, dude.’ My family loves me. They appreciate me. I want all of my energy to go into them.”
Ronda became one of the biggest names under the UFC banner. She did step away from the sports of MMA and started a new career in Pro Wrestling under the WWE banner. Her contract with WWE runs until April 2021 as she told Steve O on the show and that she would return in a part-time role and if at all.

Ronda Rousey isn’t just a complete badass and mainstream superstar, she’s genuinely one of the nicest, most down-to-earth people I’ve met. I can’t even tell you what an honor it is to have had her do this, and it’s an even greater honor to call her a friend. Thank you, Ronda!!!
