Azat Maksum arrived at BRAVE Combat Federation as one of the most sought-after young stars in Kazakhstan’s MMA and it took him less than three rounds to show global audiences why.
During the first two rounds, it looked unclear who was taking the edge between Azat Maksum and Michael Aljarouj, with the Frenchman looking for the knockout and the Kazakh athlete abusing his impressive wrestling skills, which gave them fans some of the most beautiful suplex-takedowns of 2021.
But it all changed at 56 seconds of round number three, when Maksum set up a beautiful combination, which ended up with a right hand straight to the face of Aljarouj, sending the French fighter down without response. With the win, Maksum improves his perfect professional record to 12-0.
