VIDEO: Chad Hanekom Returns To BRAVE CF With Statement Win Over Austrian Opponent
Chad “Superman” Hanekom of South Africa made a triumphant return to the BRAVE CF cage after nearly two years, having his hand raised in victory at the expense of Austrian middleweight Dominic Schober on the main card of BRAVE CF 49: SUPER FIGHTS on Thursday, March 25.
The former BRAVE CF Middleweight World Title contender put his height and reach advantage to good use from the get-go as he outstruck Schober with leg kicks and a series of right hands.
In the second round, Hanekom turned up the intensity as he overwhelmed his opponent, sending Schober to the mat with a crushing calf kick before raining down a volley of hard punches to secure the stoppage at the 0:18 mark.
Hanekom marched to an improved 7-2 record with the triumph, while Schober fell to a professional standing of 11-10.
