Brave Combat Federation will put on a landmark event, this Friday, April 19th, in Amman, Jordan, for Brave 23: Pride and Honor. All eyes will be on the nine warriors involved in the amazing three title fights set for the show. Road to Brave 23 has delved into the minds and training of these world-class athletes as they look to shine on the brightest stage.
In the main event, Jarrah Al-Selawe will make his much-anticipated return to his home country after becoming the first-ever Jordanian world champion. However, Al-Selawe will have one of the greatest grapplers in MMA to deal with in front of his crowd.
He will take on undefeated Abdoul Abdouraguimov, who has two devastating victories under the Brave banner and will look to become the first-ever Brave world champion with an unblemished record. Road to Brave explores how the two match-up and their thoughts on the monumental fight.
The co-main event of the evening will be a historical moment for mixed martial arts. Once again at the forefront of positive changes for the sport, Brave CF has assembled a Super Lightweight division, created to give fighters more options to fight at their optimal weight.
In the first-ever world title fight for Super Lightweights, Bahrain’s Eldar Eldarov will take on striker Mounir Lazzez, from Tunisia. This is a fight four years in the making, as Eldarov has asked repeatedly to face Lazzez since 2015, when “The Sniper” was widely considered the best Middle Eastern fighter on the planet.
Finally, Jordan’s own Abdul-Kareem Al-Selwady defends his Lightweight title for the first time against Brazil’s Luan “Miau” Santiago. The build-up to the fight has been nothing short of tense, as Santiago hasn’t been shy in showing his confidence and has claimed that the champ “offers me no danger”.
