The event takes place on Saturday, July 6 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The main card will air on Pay-per-view at 10 p.m. ET. The televised portion of the preliminary card will air on ESPN at 8 p.m. ET while the early prelims will air on ESPN+ at 6:15 p.m. ET.
In the main event, Jon Jones is the most dominant Light Heavyweight Champion in UFC history, and one of the best pound-for-pound fighters the sport has ever seen. Thiago Santos has been on a tear in the Light Heavyweight division with three consecutive knockout victories since moving to the division. Will Jones continue his reign at the top with a win over the dangerous striker and #3 ranked Thiago Santos? Can the K.O. artist and #3 ranked contender successfully implement his relentless style on Jon Jones to defeat the ruler of the division and become new UFC Light Heavyweight Champion?
In the co-main event, Amanda Nunes’ current status as a two-division UFC Champion and the list of opponents she’s defeated has solidified her status as an all-time great in the sport. And now she has Holly Holm in her sights. Holly Holm is a former UFC Bantamweight Champion and multiple-time world champion in boxing. To regain the title she last held in 2016, she must defeat the dominant current Champion, Amanda Nunes. Will Nunes successfully defend her title and make it nine straight wins in a row? Can Holm pull off the upset and once-again become Champion?
Undefeated Ben Askren returns to the Octagon after a tough, but victorious UFC debut. Askren now finds himself in a grudge match with Jorge Masvidal, a fighter he’s personally been calling out for months. Jorge Masvidal views his fight with Ben Askren as one of the most personal of his career, and the no-nonsense “˜Gamebred’ Masvidal has vowed to defeat him “˜agonizing’ fashion. Will “Funky” Ben continue his rise through the division and leave the Octagon victorious in his second outing? Can Masvidal deliver Askren the first loss of his career, and in doing so, solidify himself as a title contender?
Also on the card, we will see Former UFC Middleweight Champion Luke Rockhold make his Light Heavyweight debut and welcoming him to the division is #6 ranked Jan Blachowicz. Will Rockhold be victorious, or will Jan stop any momentum before it can begin?
