Who is Anthony Dizy? French MMA pioneer and legend makes his second home appearance at BRAVE CF 74

Anthony Dizy is part of a wave of French fighters who had to settle for appearances outside of France, while helping to legalize the sport within the country. Now that the hard work is done, Anthony is ready to reap the rewards of a lifetime dedicated to martial arts as he faces Vladylav Rudniev in the co-main event of BRAVE CF 74, this Thursday, September 7, in only his second home appearance.

This Thursday, Dizy will compete in his 20th professional bout, a milestone that is made even more significant by the fact that he will, once again, fight in his home country, in what was once a distant dream for the Reims native.

During his pro career, Anthony has fought all over the world, racking up appearances in Switzerland, Germany, Finland, England, USA, Russia, but has always dreamed of fighting at home, something he achieved last July with his maiden Hexagone MMA appearance, beating Roger Garcia and extending his win streak to two.

Now, Dizy steps up on short notice for a big challenge in four-time combat sambo world champion Vladyslav Rudniev. However, beating his Ukrainian counterpart could very well fast-track him to the top of the Lightweight division at BRAVE CF, currently headed by world champion Abdisalam Kubanychbek.

Known for his wrestling, Anthony won a bronze medal in the Greco-Roman European Championships. But to beat a combat sambo legend in his own right, the Frenchman is counting on his bigger MMA experience. His next foe is only six fights deep into his MMA career, and Anthony has all the shortcuts of the cage downloaded into his brain and ready to be unleashed on September 7.
