WKN World Cup 2019 in Auckland, NZ Welcomes Amateur Fighters

The WKN World Cup 2019 takes place at The Trusts Arena in Auckland from November 28 to 30 November. Presented by Team Player Events, the event marks the first time in the history of New Zealand when Kickboxing and MMA bouts are contested at the world-level on the same event.

The 3-day competition features male and female competitors battling it out in their respective weight classes. 30 WKN World Cup trophies are up for grabs.

The Athlete Registration for the event is open at CombatWorldCup.com. As many as 60 countries are expected to participate in this historic event held on NZ soil.

The final day of the competition will see French star Greg Tony in defense of his World Kickboxing Network Super Heavyweight title against famed Brazilian “Bigfoot” Antonio Silva.

Before that the WKN World Middleweight title in MMA will be on the line when undefeated Kelvin “Crazy Horse” Joseph of New Zealand takes on Brazilian mixed martial artist Roan Carneiro.
