X1 World Events 51: One to Remember set for January 19th in Blaisdell Arena

X1 World Events 51: One to Remember will take place on Saturday January 19, 2018 at Blaisdell Arena. This card is stacked with Pro Fighters from Hawaii, Japan, and the Mainland. The event will have multiple Titles on the line. You can check out the full fight card below.

In the main event, 170lb X-1 World Champion Zane “The Waianae Bad Boy” Kamaka fighting out of Waianae, Hawaii training at Hawaii Elite MMA will be going up in weight to fight Alaska’s own John Stern fighting out of Minnesota for the vacant 185lb X-1 World Title. Zane Kamaka is ranked 1st of 32 active Hawaii Pro Welterweights. Stern is ranked 4th of 19 active Alaska Pro Middleweights. Kamaka is coming into this fight with 4 straight wins with his last win was against Danny Davis Jr. by unanimous decision at X-1 World Events 50 back in August. Zane is coming in with a win as he took on Omar Acosta defeating him via Rear Naked Choke in Round 2 at the 2:49 mark at Force of One MMA back in July.

In the co-main event Oahu’s 135lb X-1 World Champion Rodney Mondala fighting out of Hawaii, United States training at LVL1 MMA will be defending his belt as he will be fighting Japan’s Taiki Tsuchiya fighting out of Odawara-shi, Kanagawa, Japan training at roots. Mondala is ranked 5th of 35 active Hawaii Pro Bantamweights. Taiki Tsuchiya is ranked 91st of 409 active Japan Pro Bantamweights. Mandala is stepping into the X1 cage with a four fight win streak with his last one defeating Tony Rodriguez with punches in Round 2 at the 0:41 mark at X-1 World Events 50. Tsuchiya is coming in with three straight losses with his last fight losing against Mamoru Uoi via Left Hook in Round 2 at the 1:30 at Shooto in Korakuen Hall.

Also on the card is Japan’s 155lb X-1 World Champion Suguru Nii fighting out of Ibaraki, Japan training at Mach Dojo will be defending his title against Maui’s Koa Corpuz fighting out of Hawaii. Nii is ranked 15th of 42 active Hawaii Pro Lightweights. Corpuz is the 11th ranked of 42 active Hawaii Pro Lightweights. Corpuz made is Pro debut against Robby Ostovich defeating him via unanimous decision at Destiny MMA. Nii is coming in with three straight wins with his last one defeating Kaeo Meyer via Kimura in Round 1 at the 2:34 mark at X-1 World Events 49.

Fight fans are in for a treat as they will see a Pro female MMA bout between Maui’s Tiani Valle fighting out of Kula, Hawaii will be taking on Andy Nguyen fighting out of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina training at SFS & Myrtle Beache’s Fitness Edge MMA. Valle is ranked 2nd of 14 active Hawaii women (pound for pound). Nguyen is ranked 852nd of 1255 active United States women (pound for pound). Valle lost her last fight against Keri Melendez via Rear Naked Choke in Round 1 2:46 mark at Bellator 201. Nguyen also lost her last fight against Miyuu Yamamoto by unanimous decision at RIZIN 13. Both are looking for a win to get back in the winning circle.
