Xtreme Fight Night was live on Friday, June 18, 2021 at River Spirit Casino Resort in Tulsa, Oklahoma and aired live on UFC Fight Pass. The promotion hosted XFN 371.
This event marked the 44th yr of XFN and the mega show did not disappoint! It had the highly anticipated debut of former Oklahoma State standout wrestler Nick Piccininni. It featured XFN 155 and 145 Kickboxing champion Alfred Freight Train Walker, XFN legend Randy Boom Boom Blake. XFN371 also featured the 160lb catch weight mega fight between the XFN 155 8 man Kickboxing tournament champion Bryan Foster and the XFN 170 8 man Kickboxing tournament champion Peter Stanonik.
FightBook MMA correspondents Arlow Jumper and Tina Hershey were un attendance covering the event. Check out the recap and official results below.
1) Kickboxing. 175lb
Devin White vs Andrew Claborn
In an action packed Round 1 that showed both men landing some big shots against each on another. What a way to start the show 1 minute in the 2nd Round White Kos Claborn with a big left hook. That I’m pretty sure it landed him the KO of the night.
2) 130lb MMA
Nick Piccininni vs Chancy Wilson
The highly anticipated debut of Piccininni did not disappoint. Piccininni made light work of Wilson from the ground showing off that impeccable grappling background and overpowering Wilson into a RNC in the first minute of Round 1!
3) Kickboxing 155
Alfred Walker vs Brandon Phillips
In the highly anticipated rubber match. In an action packed back and forth battle that could have gone either way. Walker out works Phillips to a UD. But don’t let the scorecards fool you the fight was a tough one for Walker as Phillips has an iron chin taking some big shots from Walker but Phillips resiliency was not enough to out work the highly skilled veteran Walker.
4) 155 MMA
Josh Anderson vs Charles Williams
In a fight where Anderson took Williams down at will. Anderson controlled the whole fight on the ground TKO’ing Williams with just seconds remaining in the 3rd Round at the 2:51 mark.
5) Kickboxing Heavyweight Title
Randy Blake vs Rob Morrow
In another highly anticipated rematch of the XFN Heavyweight Kickboxing 8 man tournament that did not disappoint. In a back and forth very technical fight, Morrow’s resiliency pulled off his 2nd close split decision victory over the highly favored and fan favorite Tulsa native Randy Blake. With the victory Morrow claims the vacant XFN Heavyweight Kickboxing Championship Title.
6) Kickboxing 160lb Superfight
Bryan Foster vs Peter Stanonik
In an all out war that seen Foster badly hurt from a big right hand in the first Round that im not sure if Foster ever truly recovered from. Foster didn’t seem quit like himself after being badly hurt in Round 1 Foster punch out put, balance and reflexes seemed compromised the rest of the fight. The Heart and resiliency of Foster willed him to stand toe to toe while landing some very effective leg kicks that kept Foster in the fight. It wasn’t enough to get him the win against the extremely heavy handed Stanonik, his size and power just seemed to be too much for Foster to overcome. Stanonik fights his way to a Unanimous Decision victory. In the post fight interview Stanonik calls out Alfred Walker. When that fight happens its going to be a war!
