Bagautinov, Santella Make Weight; BRAVE CF 55 Gets Green Light

The other finalist in the prestigious BRAVE CF Flyweight World Title Tournament will be determined tomorrow night, November 6 as the luminaries in the main event met the contracted weight limit for the monumental clash in Rostov-on-Don, Russia.

Ali “Puncher King” Bagautinov is set to test the mettle of short-notice opponent Sean “Shorty Rock” Santella in the tourney semifinal, which serves the BRAVE CF 55 card’s headlining attraction.

Bagautinov effortlessly made weight by tipping the scales at 56.75 KG, while Santella stepped on the weighing platform at 56.65 Kg.

Jose “Shorty” Torres was supposed to face Bagautinov at the said event’s top bill, but he decided to pull out at the last minute due to his inability to make the contracted weight limit for the bout with less than 24 hours to go before the official weigh-ins.

Luckily enough, Santella stepped up to the plate and agreed to fight Bagautinov in place of his countryman.

Aside from the headliner, the organization has raised the stakes as several match-ups have serious World Title implications.

Moreover, the show will feature the host nation’s up-and-coming stars who will be getting a fair share of the international limelight.

As the countdown begins, BRAVE CF hopes to make a plethora of memories in its sophomore foray into Russia in order to sustain its momentum created by its strategic expansion in Europe.
