The upcoming Bellator MMA event will be held on new years eve of 2022 in Japan at the Saitama Super Arena.

A current champion and at least three previous champions are among the fighters from each organization who will compete on the main card, according to the list of Bellator’s current representatives. The Fighters

Patrício Freire, also known as Patrício Pitbull, is a Brazilian mixed martial artist who competes in Bellator MMA. He is the current three-time Bellator Featherweight Champion and former Bellator Lightweight Champion.

He is the second-ever simultaneous two-weight champion in Bellator MMA history. As of April 19, 2022, he is ranked No. 1 in the Bellator men’s pound-for-pound rankings. He will be going head-to-head with Kleber Koike Erbst; Kleber Koike Erbst is a Japanese mixed martial artist who competes in the featherweight division of the Rizin Fighting Federation.

He is the current Rizin Featherweight champion and the former KSW Featherweight Champion. Erbst was born in Brazil to a Brazilian father of German and Japanese descent and a Japanese mother. He lived in Brazil until his teenage years when his family moved to Japan due to financial troubles.

Ernst initially stayed in Brazil with relatives but eventually joined his family in Japan at the age of 14. He has a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and is a submission specialist with a particular affinity for the triangle choke. Erbst has competed in Japanese promotions DEEP and Rings and has defeated former Shooto champion Hideki Kadowaka.
