Brazilian ex UFC fighter Talita Bernardo will fight for the Invicta FC Bantamweight title

Invicta FC 51: Tennant vs. Bernardo will be overseen by the Colorado Combative Sports Commission and will feature open scoring. This event will take place on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 in Denver Colorado.
The event will kick off at 8:30 p.m. ET/6:30 p.m. MT, with the main card airing on AXS TV in the U.S., Fight Network in Canada, and Invicta’s official YouTube Channel and Facebook Page at 9 p.m. ET/7 p.m. MT.
In the night’s main event, bantamweight champion Taneisha “Triple Threat” Tennant (5-1) puts her 135-pound belt on the line opposite UFC veteran Talita Bernardo (9-4).
The athlete is managed by World Fight Sports Management. Talita Bernardo will be the next challenger for the bantamweight title up at Invicta Fighting Championship 51. Since leaving the Ultimate Fighting Championship and starting to work with WFS management, Talita and her husband/coach Josimar Junior have had a 3 fight win streak. This includes a massive victory via unanimous decision against UFC vet Lucie Pudilova at the OKTAGON MMA event in the Czech Republic. Two wins on her own against the Conterrânea Yana Gadelha and against the German Katharina Lehner both by submission, proving that her Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is on point and she is ready for another challenge in her career.
The co-feature also features gold up for grabs as Oklahoma’s Kristina “Warhorse” Williams (6-3) collides with Brazilian knockout artist Ketlen “Esquentadinha” Souza (12-3) for the vacant flyweight title.
