Chris Eubank Jr will be fighting Anatoli Muratov this weekend. The fight will take place at London’s SSE Arena Wembley in the UK on Saturday, October 2^nd.

Eubank (30-2-0) has more wins, more KO’s than Muratov (24-2-1). Eubank is a former British middleweight champion, the interim WBA middleweight world champion, and IBO super-middleweight world champion.

Eubank was originally due to face former WBA International and IBO Continental middleweight champion, Sven Elbir. Though Elbir had to pull out due to a positive Covid test result. A fellow German boxer, Anatoli Muratov stepped in. Muratov is 8 positions ahead of Elbir so on the WBA’s Middleweight rankings at number 7 and has not lost since 2014.

So in theory sounds like a better match-up for the current champion.
