Seef District, Bahrain – Nurzhan Akishev has been on a tear since becoming a professional fighter back in 2017. Since then, he has amassed a very impressive 11-1 record, putting together very good streaks in between his only loss. As he looks to make his international debut at BRAVE CF 46, Akishev is ready to take the next step in his development as a top tier martial artist.
Akishev will take on Roman Bogatov on January 16th, in Sochi, Russia, and will look to begin his road towards another belt in his collection – the most prestigious one, the BRAVE Combat Federation belt.
A champion in many local organizations, Nurzhan has his eyes set on taking out the famous Bogatov, and then going up the ladder towards the Featherweight world title of BRAVE CF.
In order to do that, he will have the entire support of Kazakhstan, his home country, and will look to become the first Kazakh world champion for BRAVE CF. Curiously, Eldar Eldarov, the headliner of BRAVE CF 46, had his first main event spot also in Kazakhstan – he beat Henrique Rasputin in the first round at the time.
‘’Bizon’’ wants to emulate the steps of Eldarov and will have the chance to begin his own road towards stardom with a victory over Roman Bogatov in the main card of BRAVE CF 46.
BRAVE CF 46 takes place in association with Krepost Selection and will be headlined by the previously mentioned Eldar Eldarov, who defends his Super Lightweight world title against Leonardo Mafra. Other Russian titans will also be in action, with Ali Bagautinov, Konstantin Erokhin and Rustam Chsiev all taking part in BRAVE CF’s first and historic visit to Russia.
