Seef District, Bahrain – BRAVE CF 50 will move on with two amazing title fights on April 1st, after Ahmed Amir suffered an injury and won’t be facing world champion Amin Ayoub for the Lightweight belt.
‘’The Butcher’’ suffered a neck/shoulder injury that forced him to pull out of the fight. While Ayoub won’t be defending his title anymore, he will still be in action. The champ has agreed to a 74 kg Catchweight fight against Mashrabjon Ruziboev.
Mashrabjon happens to be the brother of Nursulton Ruziboev, BRAVE CF Super Welterweight who went viral with his slam knockout of Ibrahim Mane at BRAVE CF 47. Now his brother has the chance to shock the world on short notice.
Amin Ayoub first earned a title shot when he finished Djamil Chan back at BRAVE CF 31, in South Africa. He then became world champion for the first time after knocking out then-titleholder Cleiton ‘’Predator’’ Silva, at BRAVE CF 44. Now he will have to wait a little more to become the first BRAVE CF Lightweight world champion to successfully defend his crown, but will be in action nonetheless.
BRAVE CF 50 moves on with a stacked fight card, headlined by the best Arab MMA fighter in history, Jarrah Al-Silawi, taking on top contender Ismail Naurdiev for his Super Welterweight title. Middleweight champ Mohammad Fakhreddine will also be in action as he goes for an unprecedented second title reign when he faces off against Mohammed Said Maalem for the vacant Light Heavyweight belt.
Also set for fight night are two legs of the biggest Flyweight tournament in the sport’s history. Ali Bagautinov meets Dustin Ortiz for a place in the semifinals against Jose ‘’Shorty’’ Torres, while Velimurad Alkhasov and Zach Makovsky face off for a place in the big final.
