BRAVE Combat Federation announced that the winner of BRAVE CF 49: Super Fights main-event, Luan Santiago vs Benoit Saint-Denis, will be given the #1 contender spot and will be facing the current BRAVE CF Super Lightweight Champion Eldar Eldarov, and since the contenders have been taking shots at the current champion.
Eldarov, however, did not stay silent and responded to Santiago’s claims that he is coming to take his belt. Santiago has been focused on calling out Eldarov since he defeated his fellow Brazilian Leonardo Mafra, and he succeeded in getting the champions attention.
“Luan’s opponent isn’t a joke, his opponent is an experienced guy,” says Eldarov. “This fight will show whether everything he says is true or not because I don’t see Luan winning this fight.”
The competition is fierce between these two opponents, who have been eying the belt since it was last defended at BRAVE CF 46 in Sochi, Russia last January 16th. Luan Santiago, the former BRAVE CF Lightweight Champion is eager to get back into Champion status at the organization, while Benoit Saint-Denis will do anything in his power to bring this victory to France and Bulgarian Top Team.
BRAVE CF 49: Super Fights is taking place on March 25th in Arad Fort at the Kingdom of Bahrain as the third installment of the Kombat Kingdom Returns series leading up to BRAVE CF 50, a celebration of BRAVE CF being the only promotion in the world to visit 21 countries in its first 50 events.
