Cage Titans: Combat Night II set for September 7

In just two weeks Cage Titans return and will host Combat Night II. This event will have MMA and Muay Thai bouts at the Plymouth Memorial Hall on Saturday, September 7th.

We will see Kylie O’Hearn fighting out of Plymouth, Massachusetts training at Juniko, will make her return as she takes on undefeated Jasmine Jasudavicius fighting out of St. Catharines, ON training at Para Bellum MMA. O’Hearn is ranked 11th of 42 active New England women pound for pound. Jasudavicius is ranked 1st of 46 active New York women pound for pound. O’Hearn recent loss was against Jessy Miele via KO/TKO at CES 54: Andrews vs. Logan. Jasudavicius won her last fight against Brigid Chase via Rear Naked Choke at WFC 109. Both fighters are very entertaining and we are sure to see an exciting fight.

Former Cage Titans Amateur Champion Christopher Michael O’Brien (4-1) fighting out of Massachusetts training at South Shore Sportfighting takes on Maine’s heavy-handed striker Mohammad Al Kinani (6-1) fighting out of Maine training at Evolution Athletix. O’Brien is ranked 7th of 93 active New England Amateur Lightweights. O’Brien recent loss was against Matt Bienia via unanimous decision at Cage Titans 40.  Al Kinani is ranked 2nd of 83 active New England Amateur Welterweights and hes coming into this fight with a win against John McAndrews unanimous decision at Combat Zone 69. O’Brien is looking to climb right back into title contention as he mentioned in a recent interview with FightBook MMA.

In the amateur undercard, we will see a total of three female bouts. Rachel Reinheimer fighting out of Massachusetts training at Sityodtong Boston will take on Megan Marie in an MMA bout. USMMA Martial Arts & Yoga’s Ashley Barrett fighting out of Connecticut takes on Evolution Athletix Adina Kate Beaudry; Citadel Martial Arts and Fitness My Seppo will go against Tri-Force MMA’s Alison Blackwell fighting out of Rhode Islandin in a Muay Thai bout.

Brett Layton fighting out of Massachusetts training at Lauzon Mixed Martial Artsa asked the promotion to let him compete on the next card alongside his identical twin Brandon Layton fighting out of Vermont. Brandon puts his 2-0 record on the line against Mike Murphy fighting out of Texas while his brother Brandon takes on Tyrime Dasilva.
