In this night of action, Isaac Morris is coming back to the CFC Cage whose been with CFC since CFC 1 back on March 4th 2017. Isaac won with a rear-naked choke finish in the first round that night. He then later captured the CFC Bantamweight title on April 20th 2019 at CFC 6 by punishing his opponent with leg kicks before winning in the 2nd round by TKO. Morris defends his title March 7th against Justin Key at CFC 8 in Murfreesboro Tennessee.
Isaac it’s a pleasure for us to get to talk with you before you defend your title March 7th. How has training been going in preparation for your big fight at CFC 8?
Harder, Jacob is in the UFC now and has trained with top tier gyms and fighters. He stressed to all of H&H we have to go harder in training and do the things we hate!
Your opponent on March 7th will be Justin Key. We are scheduled to talk with him later this week but to be honest right now we don’t know much about him. We do know he trains under Joey Brassell who has produced Alex Traughber. What are you expecting to see from Justin Key in the cage March 7th?

I expect a very hungry and motivated fighter with some skill. That’s a good gym, Coach and Alex is a beast!
Isaac you captured the CFC Bantamweight title in a brutal display of leg kicks, absolutely chopping your opponent down before finishing him by TKO. Is leg kicks something you have spent a lot of time working on and who gets the credit for helping make your leg kicks what they are?
Sensei Boyd teaches us everything. But not just leg kicks I spend a lot of time mastering the stand up game.
Your list of high level training partners seems endless. Jacob Kilburn, Alexander Schenk, George Pieratt, Adonis Bonilla, just to name a few. How does it help you to prepare for fights having so many quality fighters around you training?
We said all camp, “Iron sharpens iron.”
Isaac can we get a prediction from you on what is going to happen March 7th in the CFC cage?
He sleeps! I promise.
