Donald Sanchez meets Jeremy Smith at BKFC 28

Rio Rancho, NM: Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC), the World’s Fastest-Growing Combat Sport, debuts in Albuquerque, New Mexico on Saturday, August 27 at the Rio Rancho Events Center.

The event will be headlined by the Women’s Flyweight World Championship between Champion Christine ‘Misfit’ Ferea, and Undefeated #2 Ranked Contender Taylor ‘Killa Bee’ Starling.

The promotion announced that Donald Sanchez fighting out of Albuquerque, New Mexico will face Jeremy Smith fighting out of Johannesburg, Gauteng.

Donald is an MMA Vet with an MMA record of 30-20, he made his pro-MMA debut back in 2005 when he defeated Joseph Davidson. He will be coming into this fight with his most recent loss in a Pro Boxing match against Austin Williams at Andrade vs. Keeler. Donald has about ten pro boxing bouts and is hanging up the boxing gloves, for now, and will be using his bare knuckles to do all the talking when he debuts at BKFC 28 and showcase his skills in front of his hometown of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Jeremy is no stranger to fighting in the bare-knuckle scene as he made his debut against Teagan Dooley but unfortunately, he did lose this fight at by Dr. stoppage at BYB 8: Tis the Season to Brawl. He’s coming into this fight with a win against Davian Green at BKFC Fight Night. Jeremy started his pro-MMA career back in 2009 when he defeated Martin van Staden. Jeremy has fought around the world including the Bahrainian promotion BRAVE CF. With his most recent win under the BKFC banner, he would like to have this win and climb the ladder to becoming a Bare Knuckle champ.
