FightBook MMA sat down with the creators of Cage Hunter App

Cage Hunter is an application in dealing with MMA fights. MMA fighters, managers and matchmakers can handle fights easier. No more complicated messaging, or calling around gyms. As a matchmaker, you can just find fighters for your event and send an offer directly to them (or their managers).

If you’re an MMA manager, you can keep all your fighters here visible to all MMA promotions. You can edit and track all your fight offers in one place. For fighters without MMA management, it was never easier to get offers.

An application called Cage Hunter MMA was released to simplify the matchmaking process, save time and make it easier for fighters to gain fight opportunities or vice versa, to help promoters to find new fighters. Check out the conversation we had when we sat down with the creators of CageHunter to talk about this unique app.

Hello thank you for taking the time to talk to me. Can you tell the fans on how you came up with the idea of this app?

When the founder of the CageHunter, Pavol Neruda, has worked as a manager and promoter, he needed to communicate with matchmakers around the world. He saw how complicated and tedious the whole process was. For example, imagine that you are looking for some fighter and you need to contact various clubs or manager around the Europe or the world. You need to write them on Facebook or through email one by one. Then you need to keep up a conversation with each individual.

So He said to himself, “there’s a easier way!”He has though of making it like Uber. Just “throw out” an offer, interested fighters sign up, then you choose one, the one you like most. It’s instant, fast, simple and it connects the whole world. That’s why we think that CageHunter is the new era of matchmaking in MMA.

How’s the app doing since its initial launch?

The CageHunter is doing very well, however we still consider that as a start. As anywhere else, the start is the hardest part and it is also not easy to make people trust to this platform, especially in this business. But speaking out of our experience, once someone tries it, he will love it, because you’ll see right away how much time or money can this app save to you. Nowadays you can find on CageHunter offers from all around the world since still more and more matchmakers are using this app. They found out, that thanks to the CageHunter they can build whole fight cards for events or find a quality fighter at the last moment. And this also brings an opportunity for young fighters, who can gain experience and start their careers thanks to CageHunter.

Would you consider this app the “Uber” in MMA Matchmaking?

The Uber connects drivers with passengers and simplify and improve the whole process. The CageHunter is doing the same only in another sphere or in other industry. The whole process of finding, calling and negotiation is covered by one app, CageHunter. And therefore I think, that we can consider the CageHunter as something like the Uber of MMA world.

Do not be afraid to try new things, sometimes it can change your life. We believe, that CageHunter is going in good direction and it is constantly growing, so in next year, there will be even more fight offers as well as good fighters creating together the best matchmaking platform. Thank you!
