Ian Heinisch vs. Brendan Allen expected for UFC event on June 27th.

A middleweight meeting between recent winner, Ian Heinisch, and streaking challenger, Brendan ‘All In’ Allen is targeted to take place at a UFC event on June 27th. – with the event expected to take place at the UFC APEX facility in Nevada.
In somewhat of a grudge meeting, Allen with attempt to avenge the defeat of his Roufusport teammate, Gerald Meerschaert – who dropped an opening-round knockout to Heinisch last Saturday at UFC 250. Fellow Duke Roufus trainee, Allen most recently featured in February, making a statement with an opening-round stoppage himself, of Tom Breese. News of the pairing was first reported by Combate reporter, Raphael Marinho.
Returning to the winner’s enclosure, Denver native, Heinisch launched a massive win over wily grappler, Meerschaert – following a string of decision defeats to Omari Akhmedov, and Derek Brunson. Prior to the consecutive losses, the 31-year-old former interim LFA middleweight titleholder had overcome Brazilian duo, Cezar ‘Mutante’, and Antônio Carlos Júnior. Heinisch penned a multi-fight deal with the promotion following a knockout of Justin Sumter on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contenders Series back in July of 2018.
Another alumn of DWTNCS – emerging prospect, Allen earned his UFC deal via a rear-naked choke win over Aaron Jeffrey in July of last year. After a cancelled pairing with slick grappler, Eric Spicely – Allen finally made his promotional bow against Kevin Holland, once more wrapping up a rear-naked choke win. In arguably his most impressive performance to date, the 24-year-old handed the above-noted, Breese, just his second professional defeat in thirteen outings.
