Lion Fight CEO/President Scott Kent announced today that Lion Fight 63, which had been rescheduled for June 21 in Los Angeles, has been postponed again due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
With ongoing uncertainty over regulations regarding sporting events, Lion Fight will also hold off on its previously scheduled but unannounced event for August in Los Angeles. However, Lion Fight has requested a date in October from Commerce Casino, the host venue for the June and August events. That date is also dependent on combat sports proceeding under the guidance of the California State Athletic Commission.
In a Zoom interview, Kent laid out more tentative plans for Lion Fight, pushing the elite Muay Thai promotion into the last part of 2020 and forward into 2021.
