ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. —— Cage Fury Fighting Championships (CFFC), one of the industry’s leading developmental MMA organizations, announced today that MODe, an all-natural sports nutrition brand, has become the Official Nutrition Partner of CFFC.
Founded by Tammo Walter and Nikki Halbur in 2015 and based in Costa Mesa, Calif., MODe is a natural sports nutrition brand that provides products particularly formulated for athletes to maximize performance and health. Boasting a wide array of all-natural products designed to empower athletes of all disciplines to get the most out of their potential, MODe is helping redefine the sports performance space.
In addition to Walter and Halbur, two-time Olympian Julie Ertel (Water Polo & Triathlon) and former NFL quarterback Donovan McNabb serve as partners for the fast-rising MODe brand. MODe products are available at www.myfitmode.com.
The CFFC-MODe partnership kicks off next Friday, Dec. 14, as CFFC hosts three championship fights at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City. The event will be broadcast live on UFC Fight Pass. The partnership will feature significant integration of MODe, from in-cage branding to social and digital activation to athlete engagement. MODe has also partnered with two athletes from the Dec. 14 card, Miranda Granger and Santo Curatolo.
Additionally, MODe will be supporting CFFC athletes with their products following the CFFC 71 weigh-ins next Thursday night, which stream live on Facebook and CFFC.tv from Borgata at 6:30pm.
“We are really excited about this partnership with MODe and what it means for our athletes and the future of mixed martial arts,” Rob Haydak, CFFC President, said. “MODe prioritizes the value of all-natural products in an athlete’s quest to perform at the highest levels. Their products and vision align incredibly well with CFFC, as our goal is to help our athletes reach new heights. We’re thrilled to welcome MODe as our Official Nutrition Partner ahead of our first event on UFC Fight Pass next week!”
“Partnering with CFFC is an awesome step for MODe, we look forward to being part of such a hard working and dedicated community of athletes and fans”, says Tammo Walter, CEO and Co-Founder of MODe. “These fighters compete at an extremely high level with no margins for error. The right nutrition can be the deciding factor in a complex sport like MMA that is all driven by physical and mental preparation. Nutrition can have a huge impact on both parts and done right it becomes their gear, the fuel for their fire.”
