NP FIGHT 14 Official Results

Three rounds, this was the time that lasted the war between Jayme Cardoso and Paulinho “CJ” for the interim belt in the category up to 61 kg last Saturday (09/11) in Goiânia.

The duel was the main fight of the fourteenth edition of the event, which ended the activities of 2019 of NP FIGHT organization.

Fans who attended the event in Rio Vermelho Gymnastics, saw a bloody fight, where the battle was between Paulinho “CJ” (Black Thai Team) who faced the experience of Jayme Cardoso, met his first defeat in his career.

With the win, by unanimous decision of the judges, Newlevel team fighter Jayme wins the division’s interim title, and yet within the cage, made clear his expectation for the future.

“I have come this far, but this is not where I want to be. My goal is the linear belt, this one is only provisional. I am prepared for the definitive title! I’ll be waiting!” declared the champion of the night.

Currently, the linear title of the category in the organization belongs to the athlete Henrique Marquês (Junão Fighters) who in November 2018 won the belt in the tenth edition of the event.

In addition to the MMA fights, the event promoted three NO-GI fights.

In co-main fight, Yatan Bueno (Gleidson Piglet) overcame Dione Melo (Brothers Gym) by finishing the opponent in the first round.

And as it was a night of challenges, the current Grappling champion, athlete Eder “Baiano”, put his title in play, challenging Yatan Bueno, who accepted the suggestion for the confrontation, still to be marked by the organization.
