Professional Fighters League (PFL) announces partnership with VersusGame

NEW YORK – The Professional Fighters League (PFL), the fastest growing and most innovative sports league, today announced a partnership with VersusGame, a mobile platform where users can profit off pop culture predictions and events through interactive, user-generated games, to deliver a new category in the gaming economy to MMA fans. The partnership’s games are now live and will be available for the two-remaining 2021 PFL semifinal events on August 19 and 27 airing live in primetime across ESPN networks and streaming platforms.  

PFL has launched new channels on the platform with regular live games featured around PFL events and content that will allow fans to capitalize on their knowledge of the league and the sport of MMA. Users will be able to challenge PFL fighters and commentators – including Hall of Famer and legendary fighter Randy Couture and popular MMA personality Kenny Florian – on the app, which can be accessed in the iOS App Store and at  Games will include opportunities to predict outcomes such as “Who will make it to the championship?” between Kayla Harrison and Genah Fabian.

PFL kicked off its 2021 Playoffs last week with the final four fighters from across both the welterweight and lightweight divisions putting on a thrilling showcase at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Hollywood, Florida. The action continues tonight at 6 pm ET on ESPN and streaming platforms as Harrison, the 2019 PFL Champion, begins her postseason journey against Fabian as the women’s lightweight and heavyweight action is set to hit the PFL SmartCage. The final PFL Playoff will feature the top-four fighters across the featherweight and light heavyweight divisions, airing live on ESPN2 on Friday, August 27.
