Pudzianowski meets Domingos in KSW 53 Main Event
The Atlas Arena in Lodz, Poland has become a famed place for hosting some of the biggest fights in KSW history and a venue which has become a true gladiatorial arena for Mariusz Pudzianowski (13-7). The five time world’s strongest man has faced the giants of the sport in this arena from Bob ‘The Beast’ Sapp to superheavyweight boxer Butterbean to ‘The Colossus’ James Thompson and more.
Now Pudzianowski will take on another kaiju-like challenger who goes by the name of Quentin ‘Ruskov’ Domingos (5-1). The French-Portuguese heavyweight stands over 6’3″ tall and is recognised by his distinguished beard and tattoos. Domingos, who had a short stint in Glory, has a hundred percent finishing ratio in MMA and uses his physical strength & strikes to finish his opponents.
Pudzianowski himself is coming into this fight off the back of an extremely impressive win over bodybuilder turned MMA fighter Erko Jun at KSW 51 in Croatia last November. The much younger Jun went into that fight on a three-fight-win-streak, all knockouts, and had a noticeable speed advantage. However, 43-year-old Pudzianowski weathered the storm and came back in the second round to score a TKO win.
