Renan Barão to fight Bobby Moffett at Taura MMA
Former UFC champion Renan Barão is set to compete under Taura MMA banner. He will face Bobby Moffett, another UFC vet, on November 22, in Atlantic City, New Jersey (USA), at Taura 12. The fight will be held at featherweight.
Moffett (13-5-1NC) is currently riding a two-fight losing skid. Before that, he was in a four-fight winning streak, including a submission win over Chas Skelly — subsequently overturned to a no-contest.
Both Renan and ‘The Wolfman’ are looking for redemption at Taura. Moffett impressed Dana White by submitting Jacob Kilburn in ‘Contender Series’ and was touted as one of the biggest prospects of the 2018 reality show season. Now he wants to prove that all expectations about him were fair.
Taura MMA is also proud to announce Renê Pessoa’s signing. Soldado (21-6) inked a multi-fight deal with the organization and will debut soon. The 31-year-old won eight of his last ten fights and is a ACA and WFCA veteran. He will compete at middleweight.
