Report – Kevin Holland returns, meets Tim Means at UFC Austin on June 18.

Attempting to land his second victory at the welterweight limit off the back of a successful March division landing, fan-favorite striker, Kevin Holland is set to return at a UFC Fight Night Austin event on June 18. at the Frank Edwin Center, taking on the surging veteran, Tim Means at the 170lb limit.

Holland, who snapped a run of three fights without a victory back in March at UFC 272, stopped common-foe, Alex ‘Cowboy’ Oliveira with early second round ground strikes.

For Means, the Oklahoma veteran featured at UFC Vegas 30 last June, defeating Nicolas Dalby over the course of three rounds to land his third straight victory. Kevin Holland confirmed his pairing with Means in a video on his official OnlyFans page

Before his victory over Oliveira back in March, Holland had suffered a pair of back-to-back main event losses to both Derek Brunson and Marvin Vettori – before an official ‘No Contest’ matchup with Kyle Daukaus. 

In his most recent victory before his win over Oliveira, Holland stopped the now-retired former Strikeforce and UFC middleweight best, Ronaldo Souza with an unorthodox knockout from his back at UFC 256 in December 2020.

As part his recent winning run, Means, who turned 38-years-old back in February, bested both MIke Perry, and Laureano Staropoli. During his two separate tenures with the UFC, Means, a former two-weight KOTC (King of the Cage) champion also bested former welterweight title challenger, Thiago Alves.
