Report: Mateusz Gamrot now meets Guram Kutateladze at UFC Fight Island 6 on October 17th.

A lightweight pairing of Magomed Mustafaev, and former two-weight KSW world champion, Mateusz ‘Gamer’ Gamrot has fallen to the wayside ahead of a scheduled UFC Fight Island date on October 17th. from the Flash Forum on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Mustafaev was slated to clash with Brazilian ace, Renato Moicano at the event, with the latter removed in favour of a clash with Rafael Fiziev on November 28th. Replacing, Moicano is promotional debutante, Gamrot who now clashes with Georgian born striker, Guram Kutateladze on October 17th. instead.

Making his long-awaited move to the UFC, Poznán based all-rounder, Gamrot arrives from European promotion, KSW – touting an incredible 17-0 (1) professional record.

11-2 knockout ace, Kutateladze also makes his organizational bow following a forty-four knockout win over Felipe Silva at Brave CF 29 in November of last year. News of the reworked lightweight pairing was first penned by TASS reporter, Igor Lazorin. 

Gamrot, 29, makes his nineteenth professional walk, having stood opposite UFC lightweight alum, Norman Parke on three separate occasions. With a two wins coming against the Bushmills native, Gamrot last featured at KSW 58 in August of this year – notching a unanimous decision win over Marian Ziółkowski. From his seventeen professional wins, Gamrot has scored five knockouts and four submission successes.

A two-fight Brave CF veteran, Kutateladze has notably bested both the above mentioned, Silva, and Erick da Silva in those appearances. While Gamrot may hold the grappling edge in this pairing, Kutateladze has seven knockout wins littered on his résumé of note.
