ROAD FC announces 4/20 press conference for 2018 Openweight Grand Prix, Beijing ROAD gym opening
April 9, 2018 – ROAD Fighting Championship announces a press conference for ROAD FC 047 and the 2018 Openweight Grand Prix will take place on April 20, 2018. The press conference will be held in Beijing, China at the opening launch of the new “ROAD Multi Space” martial arts, fitness and entertainment complex.
In attendance are confirmed to be Openweight Grand Prix fighters Aorigele, Jerome Le Banner, Openweight Champion Mighty Mo, Gilbert Yvel and Chris Barnett, along with other fighters from ROAD FC 047 yet to be announced. The event will be live streamed internationally.
The “ROAD Multi Space” is a large-scale MMA and fitness gym which includes a full cage, spacious mat area for all disciplines of martial arts, a vast selection of state-of-the-art strength and conditioning equipment, full cycle room for spinning, extensive shower facilities, plus a cafe and entertainment lounge. It is located in the popular shopping, dining and entertainment district of Sanlitun in central Beijing, in the Yongli International Building.
The ROAD FC 047 press conference will feature the opening of the gym with special MMA-themed events and entertainment, including the launch of the new ROAD grappling and MMA course developed for Peking University.
ROAD FC CEO Kyler Kim said, “ROAD FC has gradually established its position in China starting with the first event in December of 2015. With the opening of this official gym, ROAD FC will be able to expand and become more active in China and spread the sport of MMA. I look forward to your support and interest in ROAD FC.”
