Tae Kyun “Ares” Kim is believed to be in pole position to vie for the vacant BRAVE CF Featherweight World Championship after scoring a scintillating victory over Burzhan “Bizon” Akishev in the main event of BRAVE CF 53 last August 21.
In an Instagram post a few hours after the grueling encounter with Akishev, Kim expressed his desire to vie for the intricately-crafted hardware and even mentioned the name of Roman Bogatov as an opponent for the belt.
“Give me a title match. Need more proof?” he wrote in his post on Instagram. “I’m ready, Roman. How about next week?”
Bogatov aced his last two outings under the BRAVE CF banner in astonishing fashion, putting him in line for a possible World Title shot.
The 30-year-old Russian took time to respond to the South Korean’s callout on the same social media platform, accepting the invitation to a potential duel for the available BRAVE CF Featherweight World Championship.
“That’s a great idea, Tae Kyun Kim. Next week, [next] month, October, November, Let’s go,” Bogatov stated.
BRAVE CF’s next event is set to take place in Konin, Poland on September 25th, featuring a Lightweight World Championship clash between division kingpin Amin “Fierceness” Ayoub and arch-nemesis Ahmed “The Butcher” Amir.
