Did you have a nice holiday?
Christmas was beautiful, thank you — I enjoyed it with my family.
Is it tough to get ready for a fight during the holidays?
It’s always going to be harder because you’re going to have more temptations (laughs), but if you’re dedicated to the sport, you can overcome those.
How will it feel to get your second straight win?
It will feel great. Obviously I’m going to win, but I’m aiming for bigger stuff this year. I’m looking forward to winning this fight — knocking him out or submitting him — and then fighting a lot more this year.
Is this the year that you get to the UFC?
I want that, absolutely. But not just in the UFC; I want to be in the top 15 in the world. Let’s go!
