UFC 277 bonuses and Venum pay

This event took place on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. The main card streaned on ESPN+ PPV while he prelims will be seen on ESPN, ESPN Deportes, and ESPN+.

In the main event, Julianna Peña fighting out of Chicago, Ill. by way of Spokane, Wash. took on Amanda Nunes fighting out of Coral Springs, Fla. by way of Bahia, Brazil. In the co-main, the event Brandon Moreno fighting out of Tijuana, Mexico runs it back with Kai Kara-France fighting out of Auckland, New Zealand.

UFC officials announced the bonus winners after the event each taking home an extra $50k. Performance of the Night was awarded to Drew Dober and Alexandre Pantoja while Fight of the Night was awarded to Brandon Moreno vs. Kai Kara-France.

Fighters also took home their Venum payout totalling $313,500. Fighters with 1-3 bouts receive $4,000 per appearance; 4-5 bouts get $4,500; 6-10 bouts get $6,000; 11-15 bouts earn $11,000; 16-20 bouts pocket $16,000; and 21 bouts and more get $21,000. Additionally, champions earn $42,000 while title challengers get $32,000. In addition to the based pay, UFC fighters will receive perpetuity royalty payments amounting to 20-30% of any UFC merchandise sold that bears their likeness, according to officials.
