Undefeated Joshua Quinlan (3-0) is quickly establishing himself as a young fighter to keep your eyes on. Check out his chat with FightBook MMA before he’s back in action for LFA tonight on UFC Fight Pass.
What would you like fans to know about you? I would like fans to know that I didn’t start martial arts with the goal of being a professional fighter, but God showed me the positive impact I can have on others through hard work and dedicating myself to a craft. I’ve accepted this journey and have faith that He will be glorified in the end.
How would you describe 2020 in one word? GROWTH!
How does it feel to get a fight right out of the gate to kick off 2021? I’m excited and blessed with the opportunity to do what I love! I knew it was just a matter of time before I got back in the cage therefore I brought that mentality into every training to provide that edge.
What should fans expect this week? Fans should expect to see the best version of Joshua Quinlan yet. I’m healthy, mind, body, and soul. I’ve been consistent and plan to go out there and let the technique speak for itself.
Where do you see yourself in six months? How about a year? I plan to continue my martial arts journey and be competing in the UFC with mentors, friends, and family around me.
How would you like to be remembered when it’s all said and done? I’d like to be remembered as a person that started from humble beginnings but was able to make something of himself through decision dedication and perseverance. I’d like to be a small representation that anything is possible if you keep your mind on it and stick to it.
Is there anyone you’d like to thank while you have this opportunity? I’d like to thank my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. My mentors and coaches Michael Costa and Leandro Lorenco. The Wand Fight Team Family All my friends and family for their love and support. Everyone striving to be the best versions of themselves. Seeing that inspires me and gives me the energy to keep going!
