Undefeated Superstar Tae Kyun Kim to Lead BRAVE CF 58 Fight Card in Korea

Featherweight sensation Tae Kyun Kim is set for a homecoming for the ages. “Ares” has had a perfect BRAVE Combat Federation career so far with four wins in as many outings and has been rewarded with a main event spot in his home country. The fastest-growing MMA organization in the world makes its much-anticipated debut in Korea on April 30th and has confirmed that Kim will be one half of the main event for BRAVE CF 58.

While his opponent has yet to be revealed, BRAVE Nation in Korea and beyond can expect fireworks with the winner most likely in line for a world title shot later in the year.

Tae Kyun Kim made his promotional debut at the historic BRAVE CF 29, when he beat Erick da Silva via decision. He followed that up with two huge stoppage victories, first against Arturo Chavez at BRAVE CF 43, and then beating Husein Kadimagomaev at BRAVE CF 47, in one of the greatest performances by a Korean fighter in recent memory at the time.

He followed that up with an even bigger performance by dominating Nurzhan Akishev in the main event of BRAVE CF 53. After almost being knocked out, Kim showed true grit, determination and a complete skillset to take over the remaining two rounds and crashing Akishev’s party in Kazakhstan.

His performances in 2021 have turned Kim into a superstar for BRAVE CF and one of the top fighters on the roster, pound-for-pound. He was nominated for two prizes at the BRAVE CF 2021 Awards, as Fighter of the Year and Fight of the Year for his war against Akishev.

As he nears a title shot, “Ares” will need to overcome one final hurdle. With the support of his Korean fans, Kim will have the entire country behind him as he makes the walk on April 30th.
