Atlantic City, New Jersey – The Professional Fighters League, the fastest growing and most innovative sports league, continued their exciting 2021 season with PFL 2, which took place inside the PFL regular season bubble at the Ocean Casino Resort in Atlantic City, New Jersey. The follow-up to the league’s exciting season-opener, PFL 2 provided a night filled with exciting bouts and fantastic finishes. In the main event, welterweight MMA star Rory “The Red King” MacDonald stamped his promotional debut with a dominant first-round submission victory over Curtis Millender, while 2019 PFL Welterweight Champion Ray Cooper III took care of business quickly, submitting Jason Ponet in just under two minutes.
The night also saw 2019 PFL Light Heavyweight Champion Emiliano Sordi defeat Chris Camozzi by unanimous decision, while newcomer Cezar Ferreira scored the fastest knockout in PFL light heavyweight history, needing just 37 seconds to finish off Nick Roehrick. Additionally, Brendan Loughnane provided the season’s first highlight reel worthy-stoppage by knocking out Sheymon Moraes in the first round.
