Sidney Wheeler is confirmed to make his return at the fourteenth edition of Brave Combat Federation hosted on 18th August at Tangier, Morocco. The fighter from Dalton, USA is currently training under Chet Blalock at the Blalocks IMB/MMA Academy. He has a career record of 8-2-0 and had previously competed in Brave 10: The Kingdom Rises hosted in Amman, Jordan. There he faced Pawel Kielek from Poland in the welterweight division. The fight went the distance and Wheeler secured the victory by split decision.
At Brave 14, Wheeler will be facing Abdoul Abdouraguimov from France. Abdouraguimov is among the latest talents signed by the promotion in 2018. He had signed a multi-fight contract with Brave Combat Federation. Abdouraguimov is undefeated in his professional career with seven wins and a no-contest. He is also a French national champion of Brazilian jiu-jitsu in the brown belt category.
Brave 14 will be the first global mixed martial arts event to take place in the continent of Africa. A victory is crucial for both the fighters for their future goals at the Brave Combat Federation. The bout will be featured live on StarSat, VodaComm, Abu Dhabi Sports and Combate. Brave Combat Federation has revealed that the promotion will partner with more platforms to cover the event live in Europe, Asia and North America. The new broadcast partners will be announced by during the second half of July.
