Jackson’s MMA Series XXV returns to Buffalo Thunder Resort & Casino on Saturday June 30th

SANTA FE, NM– Jackson’s MMA Series XXV will take place on Saturday June 30, 2018 at the Buffalo Thunder Resort & Casino. The fight card is stacked with exciting Pro and Amateur fighters. Below you will find the complete and official fight card.

In the main event, Jess Martinez (3-0) from Santa Fe, New Mexico training at Superior Fitness / Santa Fe Fitness and Martial Arts will be taking on Henry Barahona 2-2 from Albuquerque, New Mexico. Jess is top ranked as he’s ranked 4th of 29 active New Mexico Pro Featherweights. He’s coming into this fight with an impressive fight record he’s 3-0 as an amateur and 3-0 as a pro. His last win was Jackson’s MMA Series XXIV as he defeated Roy Saucedo with an impressive submission win via armlock in Round 2 at the 4:25 mark. Jess will be stepping into the cage with great momentum and wants to keep his winning streak alive. Barahona is ranked 20th of 29 active New Mexico Pro Featherweights. He was the co-headliner at SCL 57: Dynamite and was defeated by Justin Gonzales by unanimous decision. He’s now looking to get back in the winner circle at JMMAS XXV on June 30th. In the co-main event, Josh Moreno (3-0) from California will be taking on Ryan Kelly (7-2) from Tucson training at the UFC GYM North Tucson. Joshua is no stranger to Jackson’s MMA Series Promotion as he fought on two cards for them. He’s coming into this fight with a three straight wins with his latest victory at Jackson’s MMA Series 21 as he defeated Omar Acosta via KO/TKO in Round 2 at he 3:40 mark. He scheduled to fight at LFA 30 to take on Taylor Johnson but this fight was canceled. Moreno is ranked 31st of 137 active US Southwest Pro Middleweights. Ryan is stepping into the cage for the first time since his fight at Rage in the Cage back in 2013. He took on Daniel Madrid and was defeated by Submission Choke. Another exciting fight you don’t want to miss.

To start off the pro card we will see Jesse Tafoya from Albuquerque, New Mexico training at Jackson Wink MMA will be taking on Jorge Martinez training at Factory X. Both fighters will be making their pro debut. To start the night off are the amateur fighters as they will showcase their skills and show us why they belong in the cage.
